To say goodbye to the rigid atmosphere of a typical interior design, the curves, coatings, wood, and glass in this office interior design bring a sense of stability to the space through the embellishment of grayscale colors. The large windows enable natural light to flow in easily. To offer privacy without giving up the beauty and warmth that natural lighting brings, the height of the partition between seats is lowered.
At the entrance that links the indoor and outdoor spaces, square corners are transited to a large, curved design, creating a smooth visual flow. The appropriate portion of embedded bright yellow light sources warms up the cold atmosphere. Warm black flooring leads the way to the office. With the seating area as the center, the office is surrounded by the conference room, meeting room, supervisor’s office, and pantry. The circular layout provides flexible and generous aisles and pathways.
The low chroma colors dilute the intensity in the space lightly. The grayscale gradients and the warm wood tones are injected into the space, adding a subtle and rich layer of variation. The hand-painted texture conveys a rustic humanistic charm, with different shades of color extending over the ceiling, wall, and flooring. The mellow grayscale colors embody a sense of simplicity and profundity. The interwoven wood tones give the space the breathing room it deserves and inject a casual and cozy spatial quality.
To give the rigid and cold space a soft touch, curved elements are added to the canopy and the bar table. The framed canopy draws the eye upward. Moreover, it is surrounded by LED strips from the outside to incorporate an abundance of warmth and overlay the scene with softness.
In the seating area and the supervisor’s office, the light-transmitting reeded glass partitions allow sunlight to pass through and provide excellent privacy without casting shadows.
